In 1985 the doors opened to the "Funny Bone" then it changed to "Catch a Rising Star" in 1996. This further solidified the club's objectives to focus on emerging talent. The comedy club remained loyal to amateur comedians while increasing their recruitment of well-known humorists.
Famed comedian David Brenner created more exposure while also attracting more nationally recognized comedians when he allowed his name to be used by the comedy club and allowed his name to be used by the comedy club and called "David Brenner's Laugh House" and in 1997 it change to the name LAFF HOUSE the original comedy club and we feel it is time to "MAKE ROOM FOR COMEDY".
