Tre Famiglia Ristorante, a family owned and operated business, opened its Haddonfield location during the early part of 2005 after delighting numerous generations of its clientele at their former century old Philadelphia location. Members of the Cipollone family have set out to bring the old world flavors to the south jersey suburbs. Overseen by the patriarch in the family, Vincent "Chip" Cipollone -formerly of Chip's Italian Restaurant of South Philadelphia- Est. 1903- to, and children Robert, Thomas ,Angela and Cynthia assure that century long traditions are maintained through each aspect of the business. Vincent Sr. continues to gratify the areas restaurants clientele by preparing culinary Italian cuisine that is served with a touch of modern day flair and elegance. A tradition, now in its second century, guarantees to provide the same attention to detail that has made loyal clients from generation to generation.

In the past year, Tre Famiglia Ristorante has been awarded "One of the Best Italian" restaurants by the Courier Post readers and "One of the Best New" restaurants by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. The Cipollone family has continued using the century old recipes and traits that have been carried over from generation to generation.  Sacrificing quality simply is not an option- this is message which continues to be ingrained from the family's patriarch Vincent. The old world traditions, mindsets and uncompromising beliefs have propelled our family business into its second century and separate Tre Famiglia from the competition. Come in any day and you are guaranteed to see Pop Chip at over eighty years scrutinizing the daily activities while hand-rolling his famous gnocchi. 

Daily specials are the highlight of this quaint Haddonfield spot. Freshly caught fish, uniquely prepared meats, and delightfully baked desserts are part of each day's menu specials. However don't be fooled, Tre Famiglia is known for some of the best traditional dishes such as Chip's homemade gnocchi, manicotti, and cannelloni among other traditional Italian favorites.

Unlike most restaurants, Tre Famiglia goes one step further by making every item from scratch. The meats are hand butchered and fish filleted on the premises.
